BCAA-X5 is 100% fermented leucine, isoleucine, and valine. It has been suggested that BCAA-X5 improves performance in several ways, including stimulating muscle protein synthesis through leucine. BCAAs can also prevent muscle protein breakdown and reduce markers of exercise-induced muscle damage. BCAAs can be a muscle fuel source during exercise. Finally, BCAAs can interfere with tryptophan transport to the brain, reducing serotonin synthesis and thereby decreasing feelings of fatigue.
